TRANSCRIBER’S NOTES Unicode symbols have been used to represent the handwritten marks that were used to indicate corrections: δ (Greek small letter delta, U+03B4) for delete ‿ (Undertie, U+203F) to connect two parts of a word ⁐ (Close up, U+2050) to indicate two parts should be closed up ੭ (Gurmukhi digit seven, U+0A6D) to indicate inverted letter
