87. A CHARADE

Lop head and tail, and you will find
I have both tail and head.
Or if for spirits you’ve a mind
Set my tail first instead.

Life, as “a vapour full of woes,”
With many a darker page,
My whole in picture will disclose,
For “all the world’s a stage!”
