ORANGE MUFFINS

1½ cups sifted flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ cup shortening

¼ cup sugar

2 eggs

½ cup canned, unsweetened orange juice

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening; add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add orange juice alternately with dry ingredients, a small amount at a time, beating after each addition until smooth.
