NEXT 5 ROUNDS: Work even alternating each s c and d c rounds same as sacque, joining and turning each round, do not cut yarn. Fold work in half, weave 7 sts at opposite end for instep, weave sts tog at lower edge. UPPER SECTION—BEADING: Ch 3, d c in same space, * skip 1 st, 2 d c in next st, repeat from * all around—24 d c, ch 1, turn. NEXT ROUND: With G hook, work a pattern in every other d c. NEXT 4 ROUNDS: Work even in pattern, then work edge same as sacque. With 2 strands, work a ch 13 inches long and lace through beading. Knot ends.
