FINISHING
Weave together side seams and sleeve seams. Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves. FRONT EDGE: With right side facing and starting at bottom of right front ribbing with double strand of yarn and size H crochet hook, pull up a lp, ch 1, sc in same place, sc in every row up front to neck edge. Ch 1, turn. Working in back lps only, sl st in each st down front. Ch 1, turn. Sl st in each st to neck edge, sc evenly around neck (holding in to fit) and down every row on left front. Ch 1, turn. Work 2 rows of sl st along left front, same way as right front. Fasten off. With right sides tog, place bottom edge of neckband on neckline just below finishing edge of sc on neckline. Sew neckband to neckline, adjusting to fit. Place zipper tape under front edgings and sew zipper to fronts with thread.
POCKET FRONT OPENINGS: Finish same way as Front Edging with 1 row sc and 2 rows sl st. POCKET BACK OPENINGS: Finish with 1 row sl st. POCKETS (Make 2): Place right sides of 2 pocket lining pieces tog. With size G crochet hook and single strand of yarn and working through both thicknesses, pull up a lp at beg of one long shaped side, ch 1, sc in same place, sc evenly along edge of one shaped side, one short side and other shaped side. Fasten off. Insert pocket lining into Jacket with wrong sides of Jacket and pocket lining tog. Sew back edge of open side of pocket lining to back of pocket opening in Jacket. Sew front edge of open pocket lining to front of pocket opening in Jacket, leaving front pocket edging free. Tack ends of front pocket edging in place. (Optional: Lightly block finished garment.)
