(Note: The k 4 and sl 1 at each end of row will be turned under for casing.) ROW 2: P across row. ROWS 3-48 (50, 52, 54): Work even in pattern, repeating Rows 1 & 2. ROW 49 (51, 53, 55): Keeping in pattern as established, work across 35 (36, 38, 39) sts, place a marker on needle, sl next st, place a marker on needle, work remaining 35 (36, 38, 39) sts. ROW 50 (52, 54, 56): P across row. ROWS 51-69 (53-73, 55-77, 57-81): Keeping in pattern as established, dec 1 st before first marker and after 2nd marker on this and every other row 9 (10, 11, 12) times more, slipping the st between markers as if to p on each dec row.
