BACK: Ch 51 (55, 59), s c in 2nd st from hook, d c in next st of ch, * s c in next st, d c in next st, repeat from * across ch, ch 1, turn. 2nd ROW: S c in 1st d c, d c in next s c, * s c in next d c, d c in next s c, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn. Repeat last row for pattern. Work in pattern until back measures 7 (7½, 7¾) inches from beg. NEXT ROW: SHAPE ARMHOLES: Sl st across 1st 6 sts (all sizes), work in pattern across row to within last 6 sts (all sizes), sl st in next st, ch 1, turn. NEXT ROW: Skip the sl st, keeping pattern uniform, dec 1 st at beg and end of row (to dec: Pull up a loop in each of 2 sts, yarn over and work off all loops at one time). NEXT ROW: Dec 1 st at beg and end of row. Repeat last row twice, 30 (34, 38) sts. Work even in pattern until armholes measure 7½ (8, 8½) inches from 1st dec. NEXT ROW: SHAPE NECKLINE: Work in pattern across 1st 8 sts (all sizes), dec in next 2 sts, ch 1, turn. NEXT ROW: Dec 1 st at beg of row, work in pattern across remainder of row. Repeat last 2 rows until 6 sts (all sizes) remain. NEXT ROW: SHAPE SHOULDER: Sl st across 1st 2 sts (all sizes), work in pattern over next 2 sts, dec in next 2 sts, cut yarn. With wrong side of last long row toward you, skip 9 (13, 17) sts, attach yarn in next st, ch 1, dec in next 2 sts, work in pattern across remainder of row. Then work even in pattern until same length as back to underarm. SHAPE ARMHOLES: Same as back to last dec ending at inside edge. Sew rick rack in position with “STAR” MERCERIZED SEWING THREAD as illustrated. Arrange beads and sew in position as illustrated. Embroider leaves with Golf Green in lazy daisy st.
