WHERE ARE THE SWALLOWS?

There’s a swallow in the air

Somewhere!

It is on its way to me

Over land and over sea,

Over pine and over palm,

Through the storm and through the calm,

And it finds the summer fair

Everywhere.

Swallow, bring the stork with you,

Swallow, do!

Bring the bird of paradise,

And the parrot, bright and wise,

Birds in scarlet, gold, and green,

Such as we have never seen;

Bring the crested cockatoo,

Swallow, do!
