Whoso hath sheep, swine and bees, shall surely thrive.

Have only boars and sows; no hogs.

A boar is better than a hog.

Put the beehive in a garden or orchard.

They commonly swarm in June or July.

Leave a hole for the bees to go in and out.

Set the hive on stakes, at least two feet from ground.
