LETTERS.

And so on, increasing 1 rate of postage for each addit’nl ½ oz.
Letters for the United Kingdom must be pre-paid, or they will be charged a fine of 6d. sterling on delivery.
Registration of Letters for English Mails.
For Registration of a letter for the United Kingdom—8 cts. as a Registration fee, in addition to the Postage. For British Colonies and Foreign Countries see table.
Both the Postage charge and the Registration fee must in all cases be pre-paid.
NEWSPAPERS.
Newspapers from office of publication to subscribers in the United Kingdom may be forwarded on prepayment of the commuted rate applicable to subscribers within the Province, or singly, at ½ cent each, at the option of the Publisher.
Transient Newspapers must be prepaid one cent each.
BOOK POSTAGE.

Book Packets addressed to the United Kingdom may in future be registered upon payment of a Registration Fee of 8 cents in addition to the ordinary rate of postage.
