BRITISH LOSSES AT RONCESVALLES
N.B.—Only those of Ross’s and Campbell’s brigades are available in detail, those of Byng’s brigade are nowhere found, but are known to have been slight—under 100 in all. It is most curious that not one officer-casualty appears to have occurred either in the 1/3rd or in the 1st Provisional Battalion, Byng’s only units engaged at Roncesvalles.
