Boat House, Arkansas River, Wichita
The idea of boating is not usually associated with a Kansas community, but this form of recreation is a popular one in Wichita and that under most pleasant conditions. Through a large portion of the year the Arkansas river at Wichita offers good rowing and in the evenings is alive with boating parties.
