THE TERRIER (FOX, WIRE-HAIRED).
G. M. Carnochan’s, 46 Exchange Place, New York.
Thornfield Knockout.
With the exception of the coat, which should be broken, the origin, uses, and scale of points of this breed are identical with the smooth-coated variety.
The harder and more wiry the texture of the coat is, the better. The dog should not look nor feel woolly, and there should be no silky hair. The coat should not be too long, but it should show a marked difference from the smooth species.
