Matthew: “As they separated from Jericho” ([xx, 29]).
Mark: “As he went out of Jericho” ([x, 46]).
Mark agrees with Luke and disagrees with Matthew as to the number of men, and agrees with Matthew and disagrees with Luke as to the time of its occurrence.
