Hey, diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle,

The cow jump'd over the moon;

The little dog laughed to see such sport,

And the dish ran away with the spoon.

DESCRIPTION

Formation;—Standing in the right aisle at attention with hands on hips.

1st Line;—Hey, diddle, diddle,the cat andthe fiddle,
Interpretation;—

Mark time, in place, five counts.

Imitate the action of playing the fiddle. One upward stroke ofthe bow.

One downward stroke of the bow.

2nd Line;—The cowjumped overthe moon;
Inter.;—

Turn to the left; place hands on edge of desk and back of seatand bend knees slightly.

Vault over the seat.

Turn to the right (front); stretch knees, lower heels and placehands on hips.

3rd Line;—The little doglaughed to seesuch sport,
Inter.;—

Bend trunk forward, hugging self, imitating greathilarity.

Assume erect position with hands on hips.

4th Line;—And the

dish ran away with the spoon.

Inter.;—

Execute a complete turn to the right with sevenrunning steps, terminating action upon the word, "spoon."

Stamp feet twice, in place, at the completion of the entire activity.
