LIFE’S VOYAGE IN VAIN.
With eyes upcast to the glistening stars,
Full of a strange mysterious awe,
I watch the lights on the heavenly bar,
And think of the ships that are sailing in,
Cargoless, empty, their voyage in vain.
With eyes upcast to the glistening stars,
Full of a strange mysterious awe,
I watch the lights on the heavenly bar,
And think of the ships that are sailing in,
Cargoless, empty, their voyage in vain.
