LITTLE FAIRY MEN
The Waste Basket said, “I can count.”
The Calendar said, “See all my numbers,
“One, two, three, four,
Come in please—shut the door.”
Tiddly Winks wrote numbers.
Tiddly Wee wrote on the board.
“We are little Fairy Men,
We can count up to ten.”
The School Room Mouse looked at them.
He looked out of the Clock.
He sang,
“I can count very well,
But how far, I won’t tell.”
Tiddly Winks said, “I like to count.”
Tiddly Wee said, “I can count on Wednesday.”
