63. Shrewsbury Cakes.
3-oz. castor sugar.
4-oz. butter.
1 egg.
1 lemon rind (grated).
8-oz. flour.
Cream the butter and sugar, add egg and lemon rind, stir well, shake flour in gradually, making a smooth paste. Roll out thinly, cut in rounds, and bake in a moderate oven.
