dorsum. The back, the posterior part of an organ.
drainage. (Surgically) The gradual removal of the contents of a suppurating cavity.
d.s. or s. Used in prescription writing, meaning to give directions.
dynia. Pain, as in pleurodynia, pain in the pleura.
