Plusieurs viendront & parleront de Paix,

Entre Monarques & Seigneurs bien puissans,

Mais ne sera accordé de si pres,

Que ne se rendent plus qu’autres obeissans.

English.

Many shall come and shall talk of Peace,

Between Monarchs and Lords very powerful,

But it shall not be agreed to it so soon,

If they do not shew themselves more obedient then others.

We are just now at the Eve of this Prophecy, when so many Princes and Potentates do busie themselves about a Mediation between the two Crowns of France and Spain, &c.
