Regne Gaulois tu seras bien changé,

French Kingdom thou shalt be much changed,

The Empire is translated in another place,

Thou shalt be put into other manners and Laws,

Rouan and Chartres shall do the worse they can to thee.

Rouan is the chief City of the Province of Normandie, and Chartres the chief City of that of Beausse.
