La faction cruelle a Robe longue,

The cruel faction of long Robe,

Shall come and hide under the sharp Daggers,

Seize upon Florence, the Duke and the Diphlongue,

The discovery of it shall be by Countrey fellows.

This is the Prognostication of a conspiracy against the Duke and City of Florence, by those of the long Gown, which shall be discovered by Countrey fellows, that live in places without Walls.
