PECAN
Turn on oven and set at 375 (high moderate).
Line a 9-inch pie pan with unbaked pastry.
| Put into bowl | ¼ cup soft butter or margarine |
| Add gradually, mixing until light and fluffy | ¾ cup sugar |
| Beat in one at a time | 3 eggs |
| Add | 1 cup dark corn syrup |
| ¾ cup Pet Evaporated Milk | |
| 2 tablespoons flour | |
| ½ teaspoon salt | |
| ¾ teaspoon vanilla | |
| 1 cup finely cut pecans |
Mix thoroughly. Pour into pastry-lined pan. Bake on center rack of oven 50 minutes, or until firm. Cool before serving.
