PECAN

Turn on oven and set at 375 (high moderate).

Line a 9-inch pie pan with unbaked pastry.

Put into bowl ¼ cup soft butter or margarine
Add gradually, mixing until light and fluffy ¾ cup sugar
Beat in one at a time 3 eggs
Add 1 cup dark corn syrup
¾ cup Pet Evaporated Milk
2 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup finely cut pecans

Mix thoroughly. Pour into pastry-lined pan. Bake on center rack of oven 50 minutes, or until firm. Cool before serving.
