“The King to the Ecclesiastical Judges, Health.[440] I prohibit you, least you hold the Plea in Court Christian, which is between N. and R. of the lay Fee of the aforesaid R. of which he complains that N. draws him into Plea in Court Christian, before you, because such Plea belongs to my Crown and Dignity.
