Trusty and welbeloved we grete you well And perceyvyng by the relacõn of o^r Ryght trusty and Right welbelovyd counsailo^r the lorde privie seale howe at the contemplacõn of o^r lettres lately dyrected unto you for yo^r lovyng graunte to be made unto the merchauntes of o^r citye of London for theyre reasonable money to have of you suche yo^r howses and tenementes situate and lyeng yn Lombardstrete as shulde be mete for a burse wherunto the merchauntes of o^r said Cytye shulde for the trafique of marchaundyses have dayly conco^rse and accesse to the beautifyeng of o^r sayd Cytie and the advauncement of o^r common wealth of the same ye have lyke a lovyng subiect confo^rmed yo^rself unto the same And have of yo^r owne gentlenes shewed and declared more conformitye unto theyre sute and Request than we desyred of you by o^r sayd lettres lyke as for yo^r gentle Accomplysshement thereof we geve unto you o^r cordyall and condynge thankes So we assure you we shall have the same yo^r towardnes yn the perfo^rmyng hereof yn suche remembrance as whan occasyon shall serve yn yo^r lawfull pursuytes the same shall redownde unto yo^r benefyte accordyngly Yeven under o^r signet at o^r Royall palace of Westminster the xxv day of Novembre.
