  1. First, select good sound pipe and fittings.
  2. Second, locate branch connection in street sewer.
  3. Third, lay out run of house sewer.
  4. Fourth, take out necessary permits from departments of sewer.
  5. Fifth, dig trench in the street, then into the house.
  6. Sixth, lay pipe and cement joints.
  7. Seventh, refill trench, tamping every foot.
