Itabitsu.

Fought October, 740, between[between] the Japanese rebels, under Hirotsuke, 13,000 strong, and the troops of the Emperor Shommu under Ono-no-Atsuma. The Imperial troops, who were only 8,000 in number, attacked the rebels as they were crossing the river, and routed them with heavy loss. Hirotsuke was killed.
