Obvious typographical errors have been silently corrected. Variations in hyphenation and accents have been standardised where they occur in the editors notes, but all other spelling and punctuation remains unchanged, except as noted below.

[Footnote 1172], referencing [verse 8 on page 371], has been corrected according to the note ([footnote 35]) on page xxxv:

The editor has used scribal abbreviations in the text. These have been expanded to the intended words, as the exact form of the original notation cannot be reproduced here. These substitutions were made:
