C. M.
Our souls are in the Saviour’s hand.
Our souls are in the Saviour’s hand;
And he will keep them still,
And you and I shall surely stand
With him on Zion’s hill.
2 Him eye to eye we there shall see,
Our face like his shall shine;
O! what a glorious company,
When saints and angels join!
3 O! what a joyful meeting there,
In robes of white array!
Palms in our hands we all shall bear,
And crowns that ne’er decay!
4 When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise,
Than when we first begun!
5 Then let us hasten to the day
When all shall be brought home:
Come, O Redeemer! come away!
O Jesus! quickly come!
