It bears the Royal Arms and Supporters with a Cannon, and the mottoes “Ubique” over the gun, and “Quo fas et gloria ducunt” below it.
The East India Company’s Engineers were absorbed into the Corps in 1858.
It is nicknamed “the Mudlarks.”
