"Inversions" belong to the same genus as the Logogram, which has been fully described, but have their own peculiarities, as the following examples will plainly show:—

Answer: XS (Excess). SX (Essex).

Invert a title common in Spain,

A mark of recognition you obtain.

Answer: Don, Nod.

Invert a colour, quiet, staid,

A term for Poet you have made.

Answer: Drab, Bard.

Invert a sliding box in case or table,

You'll find a recompense—it is no fable.

Answer: Drawer, Reward.

A portion if 'tis backwards read,

Will prove to be a snare instead.
