"Thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing."
Dear heart! and is it thus thou didst lament
His absence for a day? How different
Thy grief from mine! Absent from Him for years,
I sorrowed not: and only found my tears
In finding Him. Then, to my bitter cost,
I knew the priceless treasure I had lost!
