A press dispatch from a city in the Canadian Northwest states that the city council had voted to buy a motor-driven chemical and hose wagon, and at the same meeting decided to engage a water finder hailing from Hamiota to “make a thorough investigation with his magnetic instrument of all possible sources of water supply.”
