THE HAUGHTY COW
Said an acrobatic monkey
To the staid and stately cow:
“Come let us turn some handsprings;
“I will quickly show you how.”
But old bossy shook her head,
“No indeed!” she sharply said,
“I have passed the age of nonsense
“And I’ll not begin it now.”
