ALICE. Yes, sir.
MR. KNOWLE. And then—bring in the whiskey.
ALICE. Yes, sir. (She goes out. In a little while she comes back followed by the stranger, who is dressed from head to foot in a long cloak.) Mr. Gervase Mallory.
