Corolla tiaræformis, apice incarnata, ad basin albida; laciniis minutis, obtusis, erectis.

Stamina. Filamenta octo capillaria; antheræ muticæ, exertæ.

Pistillum. Germen tiaræforme. Stylus filiformis. Stigma tetragonum.

Habitat ad Caput Bonæ Spei.

Floret a mense Maio in Julium.

SPECIFIC CHARACTER.

Heath, with beardless tips without the blossom; flowers nodding, turban-shaped, and nearly hid by the empalement; leaves by threes, blunt, linear, and harsh.
