Dunkard Creek flows eastward into the Monongahela. Fish Creek flows southwestward into the Ohio, emptying 113 miles below Pittsburg, and 58 above Marietta. A famous Indian war-trail ran up Fish and down Dunkard––a short-cut from Ohio to the western borders of Pennsylvania and Virginia.––R. G. T.
