He nodded, and said: "When do you want to start?"
"To-morrow," said Nancy.
"And how? In a train? Or by motor? Or by boat?"
"I don't mind," said Nancy, hiding her face in her handkerchief and beginning to weep.
"And with whom?" There was a pause. "What about a maid?"
