Jack: “Ya-as, I was there.”
Naomi: “At the battle of Inkermann?”
Naomi: “Then why didn’t you mention it?”
Jack: “Not worth while, there were so many other fellows there.”
Naomi: “Did you fight?”
Jack: “Ya-as, I fought.”
Naomi: “Weren’t you frightened?”
