Complete Works of Mrs. E. D. E. N. Southworth
Price, Fifteen Cents
There is hardly a reader in America who has not read this author’s “Ishmael” and “Self-Raised.” They are classics of the people, and no author of popular fiction has ever been more justly praised, nor held a more secure position in the hearts of American readers than Mrs. Southworth.
After the two books just mentioned, her “Hidden Hand” is best known, but in addition to these books there are dozens of others which are known the world over.
All of Mrs. Southworth’s work is strong in plot, and her character drawing is worthy of a Dickens, or a Thackeray, or a Poe. This line contains all Mrs. Southworth’s copyrighted books, and is the only authorized edition of her work.
