When the clouds that still hide the elder continent lift—and some of us think that in their darkness we can discern fissures, through which the azure of the far-off heaven looks down—when the Revealer has spoken, when the long-hoped-for consummation, the meeting of the nations, has come; then, if I am still able to write, I will tell what part Gumilcund and her rulers have played in the great ever-unfolding drama of the ages, and how the present has grown out of the past.
