This battle honour is borne on the colours and appointments of practically every infantry regiment in the army, in the cavalry the only regiments which were so unfortunate as not to participate in the campaign being the 4th Dragoon Guards, the 4th, 11th, and 15th Hussars, which were in India, and the 21st Lancers, which were at home.
