The Hebrew hymns have only the negative statements regarding Yahwe’s prestige in the lower world:
The dead praise not Yahwe,
Neither any that go down to silence
—Psalm 115:17.
and the assertion of Psalm 139:8 that Yahwe the omnipresent is present also in Sheol.
