It is the same strong national spirit that flames forth in confidence of the great final victory in Psalm 68:2, 4:
Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered;
Let them that hate him flee before him,
But let the righteous be glad;
Let them exult before God,
And let them rejoice with gladness.
While Yahwe’s victory has primary significance for Israel:
Let Israel rejoice in its maker,
Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their king.
