To execute upon them the Judgment written,
An honor is it for all His faithful ones.
—Verses 7-9.
In Psalm 47 it is Yahwe’s great political triumph:
For to God belong the shields of the earth;
He is greatly exalted.
Psalms 96 and 98 close with the joyous anticipation that the reign of Justice is at hand:
... For he has come to judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with equity.
