Axil. The upper one of the two angles formed by the juncture of a leaf with a stem.

Axillary. Situated in an axil.

Bark. The outer covering of a trunk or branch.

Bearded. Bearing a long, bristle-like appendage, or furnished with long or stiff hairs.
