A little daughter, twelve years old,
In manners sweet and mild.
Then Jesus, whose glad work it was

Went with him, followed by the crowd,
Who would not from Him part.
And a poor woman, suffering
From a severe disease,
Who, for twelve years, her money all
Had spent in doctors' fees;
