The while unfolded o’er me like a wing
The panorama of the night and day.
A petty part I played within a play
While Spring and Summer scenery did fling
Round me fit for the great gods glorying,
And set suns, gem-like, on the breast of day.
At last the power behind it I did learn.
I met you and the meaning was made clear;
Then I built worthy of the garden here.
My heart’s a dwelling now gods may not spurn,
