"Judge (resuming).—For you're in a bad plight now to appear among the ladies.
"Prisoner.—'Oh! I'm the boy for bewitching them.'
"Judge.—Not when you're drunk, I imagine.
"Prisoner.—'A man's a man, for a' o' that.'
