Crochet Shoes.
Berlin wool, pattern No. 6.
The shoes must be worked from a paper pattern the size required. Commence at the toe, and increase by working 2 stitches in 1 at the beginning and end of the row until sufficiently deep. For the sides work about a third of the front.
Gold color and French blue for the ground, and 3 shades of each for the pattern.
1st row—2 stitches of blue and 2 of gold.
3rd row—Gold and dark blue.
4th row—2nd shade of blue and gold.
5th row—3rd shade of blue and gold.
